In an era where people from various backgrounds are turning to Christ in large numbers, it is important to have more people who are committed to disciple them. Our multicultural world needs countercultural disciples and disciple makers.
This book elaborates on the biblical principles of discipling and their relevance to our life and ministry. Some of the key challenges that he highlights are cultural values of honour and shame, family commitments, persecution, and so on.
Ajith Fernando is teaching director of with Youth for Christ in Sri Lanka, based in Colombo for over four decades.
Ajith Fernando has written twenty books published in about twenty-four languages including ‘Jesus Driven Ministry’, and ‘The Call to Joy and Pain.’
